Baker Aircraft provides flight training in our aircraft or
yours. We have a range of Cessna fixed-wing aircraft on the
flight line and rotor-wing training is offered in our
Robinson R-44 Raven II helicopter. Flight Instruction is
provided in our aircraft at $35 per hour and in your
aircraft at $45 per hour. Baker Aircraft is offering a
helicopter flight school with an accelerated 2 week private
pilot training program in our fixed wing and rotor wing
aircraft. We also do accelerated instrument and commercial
training as well at the Baker City Airport, in Oregon.
We provide initial training, instrument and commercial
training, biennial flight reviews (BFR) and IFR currency.
If you are already a pilot and are interested in expanding
your knowledge, kicking the rust off, gaining currency or
adding an additional rating, give us a call and we'll review
our programs with you. We've found that many fixed-wing
pilots desire to move forward with a rotary-wing rating.
We'll help move you into a helicopter quickly!

available when you purchase a block of a minimum of
$2,000.00 gives you a $10.00 per hour discount on helicopter
rental.
If you have always dreamed of
becoming a pilot and flying an airplane, then lets talk.
It is never too late to start. Begin by giving us a
call to schedule a meeting with an instructor. We'll
sit down and discuss our pilot program, review the
requirements and costs and then we'll go fly. You'll
sit in the pilot's left seat and our instructor will give
you 100% attention as he helps you takeoff! You'll be
able to control the aircraft in level flight with the
instructor following through with you on the dual controls.
Experience the wonderful feeling of being airborne, above
the traffic and hustle of the city, enjoy the beautiful
views of the surrounding mountains that you've never seen
before from the ground. It is the ultimate freedom!
If you like what you've seen,
then there is more. With 40 hours of flight time
(sometimes a little more), including at least 20 hours
airborne with your instructor, you'll be ready to take the
written, oral and flight tests. A Private Pilot
Certificate in your pocket gains you admission to the skies
and a wonderful hobby and/or profession. The sky is
waiting, lets go! Costs?

wing training. Block rates are available when you purchase a
block of a minimum of $500.00 gives you a $5.00 per hour
discount on airplane rental.
