Aircraft Rental  
                              40 Hrs

40 hours of flight time is required by the FAA.  Half of this time will be solo, the other half with an instructor.  This is a minimum.  More hours may be required.  The aircraft is a Cessna 172 Skyhawk and the rate is $95/ hour

Flight Instruction 
                            20 Hrs

20 hours is the minimum required by the FAA.  Students may find that more than 20 hours is necessary.

Solo flight

This is the big day that you will always remember.  You'll go into the sky alone with your new found knowledge and make a couple landings.  Next will come a long cross country flight with your instructor, followed by a solo long cross country flight.  The final steps of obtaining your license to fly come next.

Written Exam Fee 
Complete the course material, study for the exam and take the test.  When successfully completed you are ready for the flight test.

FAA Practical Exam Fee
This is the flight test with an FAA designated examiner to test your flying skills.  Once successfully completed, you will receive your signed Private Pilot Certificate.
